A Letter from Laurie Smith

Dear Panda Fan:

I’m so happy that you’re visiting this page, and I hope you have been enjoying my paintings on the Ultimate Pandas DVD. It was a real pleasure doing them, because I love pandas, and it was fun capturing the high points of each scene with my paintings.

I did the paintings on paper using acrylic paint to get bold blacks and strong colors, but I also left blank space for the whites as though I was doing a watercolor.

Now I’m pleased to offer you four of the paintings as fine art prints suitable for framing. These might go well in a child’s bedroom or anywhere else in your house where you’d like a playful accent.

Each of these prints measures 11" x 14", including an ample border for a matte. These are archival-quality giclee prints on 100% acid-free cotton rag paper using top-quality inks.

I’ve put a lot of care into choosing the printer, the paper, and the giclee process so that you will have a really beautiful print.

I’m just starting to make these paintings available, so I’m only offering four prints to begin with. If you would like a print of any of the other paintings on the Ultimate Pandas DVD, please drop me an email and I’ll be happy to see what I can do.

Also please let me know if you’d be interested in larger prints, or even in a large, specially commissioned oil painting of your favorite pandas.
